GENERAL
INFO:
Please bring
yoga mat if you have one (I used to sell mats when they were difficult
to find - but there are various places you may find mats nowadays.
Online there are various outlets (such as www.yogamatters.com)
or in stores (such as TK Maxx, John Lewis - and even Tescos have
sold them in the past!) You may like to bring a blanket for final
relaxation, (which can also can be useful during the class to
sit on if necessary.)
For clothing
– please wear leggings / stretchy trousers or tracksuit
bottoms /t-shirt/fleece (so it’s easy to move) and we work
in bare feet.
During a
typical yoga class we will focus on practice of asanas (postures)
to encourage correct alignment of the body, breathing awareness
- often in synchronisation with posture work - and relaxation,
for body and mind
