EnneaYoga background
EnneaYoga has been developed as an original concept
by combining two ancient systems, the Enneagram and Yoga. The Enneagram
is an ancient model of personality which can help us better understand
ourselves and others. Yoga is an ancient discipline that works with movements
of body and breath. With both the practice of yoga, and with knowledge
of the Enneagram, there is a belief that we are uncovering our true essence
which is found within each of us. Sometimes however, it seems that other
elements or barriers get in the way and connecting to our true essence
is not so easy. With our Yoga practice, and with the knowledge of the
Enneagram model, the underlying belief is that we can grow, develop and
connect on a deeper level to our true selves. By combining these two disciplines
we are seeking balance in the body and in the mind - one leads to the
other and vice versa.
EnneaYoga workshop facilitators:
Ann Binnie and Liz Truckle have brought these two systems together to
create EnneaYoga workshops.
Ann is a qualified Enneagram teacher having studied with Helen Palmer
(author of the Enneagram in Love & Work) and David Daniels MD, clinical
professor of Psychiatry of Stanford University Medical School, graduating
in 1999. She brings a depth of knowledge and a wealth of experience to
the EnneaYoga© workshops.
Liz is a yoga teacher, always looking to develop and deepen the practice
of yoga. Together, Ann and Liz bring their passion for each discipline
into enjoyable and rewarding workshops. The day workshops can help individuals
understand themselves better, and allow groups or teams to communicate
and work together more effectively.
Open Workshops are arranged throughout the year, and tailored corporate
'away-day' style training also offered. |
