Summer - Yoga and gentle Detox! - with Antonia Boyle
One of my lovely and very qualified yoga teachers, Antonia - who some of you have met, is arranging a yoga weekend in July - I'm also attending the weekend and hope that you may be able to come along! I first met Antonia about 8 or 9 years ago - and have regularly attended and enjoyed her classes and workshops - further details available here. (Antonia has also asked me to lead a session during the weekend, as you will see from the flyer!)

Yoga Detox workshop
with Antonia Boyle

3 DAY RETREAT at AYLESFORD PRIORY, AYLESFORD, KENT
Everyone is welcome, no matter what your Yoga experience is

The total cost (including full board accommodation & classes) £275

There are classes from 7am until bed time!
You can take as many or as few as you like - these include:

Yoga posture classes/workshops, pranayama and meditation

In addition to Yoga there will be instruction in Qigong exercises

Demonstrations of Tajiquan

Winter Detox Diet to give you an internal spring clean - No-one goes hungry!

    Yours teachers are:

    Antonia Boyle is the organiser of this weekend and a yoga teacher of many years standing. She has trained yoga tutors over a period of 20 years. She is also a Master Practitioner of NLP and a Practitioner of EFT.
    Be and Bob Insley are both experienced and totally dedicated British Wheel of Yoga teachers. Bob runs Teacher Training Courses for the BWY.  They will help you move on further into your practice with their outstanding methods.
    Katherine Allen has practised Taiji since 1987 after a serious horse riding accident, in order to help regain her mobility. She trained at the highest level and has won several gold and silver medals for hand and weapons form.

    There will be therapists available for pampering and relaxation. Bookings need to be made during the weekend and the fee for this is not included in the price.

    The Friars at Aylesford Priory near Maidstone in Kent is a wonderfully peaceful place. We return there year after year because it is so lovely and perfect for our needs. There is single accommodation available for everyone or shared rooms on request. The food will be mainly raw vegetarian and, allowing for the winter, we will have some soups too! No one goes hungry and you will feel revitalised. Special diets can usually be catered for.

    Yoga and Wellbeing Workshop

     Do you plan to enjoy vibrant health, an abundance of energy & peace of mind in the New Year?

    You’re invited to come along and experience a variety of ways to bring balance and harmony to the body and mind, including Yoga practices for health and wellbeing, Meditation and NLP for focus, and Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.  We’ll start the workshop with a warming drink - and finish with a simple snack.

    The yoga practice is varied and offers the chance to work at your own pace (there is also time for a more challenging practice for those who wish).
    We will finish with a deep relaxation…(please bring warm clothing & blanket!)
    No prior yoga experience required

    The half day session is open to all – so whether you are a total beginner, have practiced yoga, or are a teacher – you are welcome!
    We will start the workshop with a drink to stimulate the digestive processes – and finish with simple detoxifying food.

    We repeated the basic outline for this workshop, following on from the success of the January workshop!

    Detox and NEW YEAR Workshop -with Liz Truckle: January 2006
    A great session had by all! The emphasis was on yoga practices to - help detoxify the body - gain clarity of mind - and to spend time setting realistic intentions – and achieve our goals (using NLP)

    The day started with a drink to stimulate the digestive processes – and will finished with some simple food.

    The workshop is open to all – and everyone has the opportunity to work at their own pace... there is time for a more challenging practice for those who wish – as well as time for relaxation …

    February Detox Weekends - with Antonia Boyle: February 2006
    A number of us travelled to Aylesford Priory in Kent to enjoy this opportunity to detox, refresh and renew mind and body! We had a great time, as always - and are already planning getting together next year at the detox weekend!

    Summer 1/2 day workshop - with Liz Truckle: June 2005
    Thank you to those who attended this workshop, which focused on Pawanmuktasana series of movements - where we focused on movement and flexibility in the joints - and then the digestive process, as well as energy releasing poses.

    We also practiced Yoga Nidra - a deeper relaxation - which allows the mind and body to relax more fully. An enjoyable session was had by all - and the report back was that most of you went home for a brief lie down in the afternoon!!! You soon recovered a calm energy after that... a good start to the weekend!
